Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus, called SARS-CoV2.
Common signs and symptoms of COVID-19 are very similar to other respiratory viruses presenting with mild to moderate respiratory illness. It can recover without any special treatment. However, high risk population such as older people, people with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
Transmission of COVID-19 is mainly via respiratory or salivaย droplets.

Survey on Covid-19 Morbidity and Mortality
Systematic collection and documentation of COVID-19 morbidity and mortality will support the Ministry of Health, NUG in managing the health care programs. Therefore, people who have suffered from Covid-19 or who lost their family members due to Covid-19 (from September 2021 to current) are requested to answer the survey form.
