His Excellency Professor Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister for Health and Education, the National Unity Government of Myanmar, met Heidi Hautala, Vice-President of the European Parliament, Bernard Guetta, Member of the European Parliament and Antoine Ripoll, Director, European Parliament – Parliamentary Relations with ASEAN & South East Asia on 1st June 2022 at 3:30 p.m. CET, in Brussels, Belgium.

During the meeting, the Union Minister discussed the update on the situation in Myanmar. The Vice-President, Member and Director of the European Parliament said that the European Parliament stands shoulder to shoulder with the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw – CRPH, the National Unity Consultative Council – NUCC and the National Unity Government of Myanmar – NUG in their efforts to restore democracy in Myanmar.
