1. Around 1 p.m. on 12th January 2022, the terrorist military regime used aircrafts to bombard Dwelo Township, Mutraw District under the ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐ผ๐ป. The air bombardment resulted in destroying Wahkhade and Ledhopho hospitals/clinics in Dwelo Township.
2. From the time coup dโetat took place on 1st February 2021 to 30th November 2021, a period of 10 months, there have been 355 incidents against healthcare inflicted by the the terrorist military council, 284 health workers arrested, 113 hospitals/clinics raided and 31 health workers killed. This data was published on 23rd December 2021 in a collaborative report by Insecurity Insight, Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) and the Johns Hopkins Centre for Public Health and Human Rights (CPHHR). 3. In addition to those transgressions on healthcare activities and healthcare workers, the terrorist military council had been committing crimes against humanity by wholesale attack on innocent citizens in Kachin, Kayah/Karenni, Karen, Chin, Mon, Shan, Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Tanintharyi Divisions by mass immolation, air raids, artillery bombardment, shoot to kill intent and deliberate destruction of properties and dwellings by arson. Because of these inhumane atrocities committed by the terrorist military council, between 1st February 2021 and 3rd January 2022, there are almost 400,000 citizens internally displaced in the whole of the country. 4. The Ministry of Health, National Unity Government strongly denounce and condemn the inhumane atrocities committed by the terrorist military council and urge the international community to intervene and take action upon a regime which has broken the Geneva Conventions, United Nations Security Councilโs Resolutions, national laws and International laws.
