Tele-Mental Health Service

Mental Health is one of the top priorities of MoH.  With the COVID-19 pandemic and coup crisis, it is important to ensure the mental health well being of the citizens. Telecommunications, or video conferencing with counsellors, psychologists, mental health specialists offer effective interventions such as anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and stress.

Top priorities focus are:
  • Sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) victims
  • War-victims
  • Internally displaced population
  • Friends and families of those who lost their lives during the war
To provide telemedicine support to those in need with mental health support, MoH is working on collaborating with other governments sectors, international partners, EHOs/EBOs and private sectors.
The hot-line numbers to get access to telemedicine are going to be released soon
